Fatwa #374812 March 2002Pakistan

Sir, Assalam Alaikum, I have been fooled emotionally by a person and now I know that this person is doing the same with another person. Should I warn this new person about it or not?

Question

I don't want to create any problems for anyone. But do I have the right to interfere in this matter and warn this new person?

Answer

In principle, it is a moral responsibility to serve the oppressed and
deceived.

Therefore, if you fear the person in reference will be oppressed and
deceived, you may inform him with the intention of saving him.
