Can a man keep a gold-colored iPhone?

Is gold coloured iPhone Haram for men?

Is non-gold metal painted in color of gold Haram for men?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The gold-colored iPhone, as well as any other gold-colored metal item (e.g. pen, watch etc.) is permissible for men to keep and use as the items are simply gold-colored and do not contain real gold.[1]
