What does islam say about breaking of Family ties

Question

under what circumstances is it acceptable ?,and what are the implications ? . should I make maaf , aven though it is not my Fault. Jazakallah

The order of maintaining family ties is replete in the Qur'aan and Ahaadith.%0D%0AHadhrat Aaisha (Radhiallaahu Anha) narrates that the Rasool of Allah%0D%0A(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, '(the personification of) Family ties%0D%0Aare attached to the throne saying, 'he who joins me, Allah joins him and he%0D%0Awho breaks with me Allah Ta'ala breaks away from him.' (Bukhari and Muslim)%0D%0A%0D%0AJaabir ibn Muntam (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu%0D%0AAlayhi Wasallam) said, 'The person who breaks family ties will not enter%0D%0AJannah.' (Bukhari and Muslim)%0D%0A%0D%0AAsmaa bin Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Anha) narrates that her mother came to her%0D%0Aat that time when she (her mother) was an idol worshipper. Asmaa%0D%0A(Radhiallaahu Anha) enquired from Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)%0D%0Awhether she must be good to her or not. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi%0D%0AWasallam) replied to be good to her.%0D%0A%0D%0AIbn Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi%0D%0AWasallam) said, 'The joiner of family ties is not he who (merely)%0D%0Areciprocates, but the joiner of family ties is he who joins ties when one%0D%0Abreaks ties with him.'%0D%0A%0D%0AHadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Anhu) and Hadhrat Mistah were close family%0D%0Amembers Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Anhu) used to render financial%0D%0Aassistance to Hadhrat Mistah. When Hadhrat Mistah (Radhiallaahu Anhu) got%0D%0Ainvolved in the scandal against Hadhrat Aaisha (Radhiallaahu Anha), Hadhrat%0D%0AAbu Bakr, being the father of our mother Aaisha was natural upset and vowed%0D%0Ato discontinue his assistance to Mistah. Allah Ta'ala advised him, 'Don't%0D%0Ayou love to be forgiven?' Upon that, Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Anhu) replied,%0D%0A'Yes! I love to be forgiven.' He forgave Mistah and resumed his financial%0D%0Aassistance to him.%0D%0A%0D%0AIn order to maintain family ties, forgiveness and tolerance are essential%0D%0Afactors.%0D%0A%0D%0Aand Allah Ta'ala Knows Best%0D%0A%0D%0AMufti Ebrahim Desai%0D%0AFATWA DEPT.%0D%0A
