Foreplay or intercourse?
Question
Salam
My question is
it is obligatory for wife to come to her husband when he requests her for intimacy
BUT is it obligatory for her to be intimate with him and allow him foreplay or the only obligation is for intercourse?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Fulfilment in intercourse between the spouses is one of the core objectives of a marriage which is ideally achieved through mutual co-operation. The foreplay before intercourse serves to bring about that mutual co-operation for intercourse.
