Do you think that the way halaal is done in India both in normal practices as well as during religious festivals is properly done as per the HOLY TEXT?

Sir, I have done a small research in this field last year. I am extremely interested in Islam though I am not a Muslim. The way I have seen slaughtering happening in most of the parts of this country, I somehow feel that it is not keeping with the rules and the regulations of the holy text. If you may please, i would like to share the present scenario with you. I am sure you are not unaware with the current situation.
