I do not know either my software job in IT department of conventional bank lawfull by sharia or not?
Question
I am a software engineer by prefession and working in an IT department of an islamin bank in pakistan.
I am willing to switch my company due to being much underpaidI am getting software job opportunity mostly Conventional Bank's IT Departments due to past experince in banking IT.
My job includes computer programing like creating website,mobile apps, system integration by middleware,database handling etc.
My role does NOT include Core banking programing where ineterest calculation may be done while designing the software.
I do not know either my software job in IT department of conventional bank lawfull by sharia or not?
Please guide.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to work in the IT Department of a Conventional Bank if the IT is not related to interest related functions.
