How should one read Salah behind the Imam?

Question

I follow the Hanafi Madhab.

I need clarification on reading salaah behind a imaam , how should one read salaah behind imaam for a silent compared to a loud prayer , should one read behind the imaam or stay silent during the entire prayer ?
