Can I avoid pregnancy and go for Hajj?
Question
I have recently married and my husband plans to go hajj next year
along with me.
Is this a valid reason to avoid pregnancy on health accounts till
after hajj
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for you to delay your pregnancy until after hajj.1
