What to ponder in Salaah
Question
A/A. My previous question was not answered anyways i have other question that is doubting my mind hope it will be answered. The question is that do we have to remember only Allah during salat or can we remember prophet SAW too.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
When we speak about Allah Taala being remembered, especially in Salah, it means to worship Allah Taala. In that context, we do not remember Rasulullah صلي الله عليه وسلم in Salah as we do not worship Rasulullah صلي الله عليه وسلم .
We may keep in mind how Rasulullah صلي الله عليه وسلم performed Salah and follow the Sunnah of Rasulullah صلي الله عليه وسلم in performing Salah.
