Is a person on whom sihr is done oppressed?

Question

Does a person who is under sihr affected with this , does this hadith also apply to him as being an oppressed person?Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: The Prophet sent Mu’adh to Yemen and said, “Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.”  (Bukhari)

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Yes, a person affected with sihr is an oppressed person. The curse of such a person is accepted by Allah Taala.
