It is permissible to dispense of interest funds to the poor and needy even if they are non-Muslims

Question

Can you give interest money to children in need,  red nose day charities and  animal charities run by non-muslims. Can you also give to non-muslims who are not that well off (poor). 

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

It is permissible to dispense of interest funds to the poor and needy even if they are non-Muslims.
