Why does Islamic law say to kill the one become an apostate? Does Islam impose a jizya upon non-Muslims?
Question
I have 2 questions, I would like to mention that I'm not asking to question the decree of Allah
rather, to know the wisdom behind these laws and/or to answer the non muslims.
My first question is, Why does the islamic law say to kill the one who has converted from islam to any other religion?
and my second question is jizya something that non muslim are suppose to pay because they live in the land of muslims?
What is jizya? Can you explain?

In response to your queries we advise you to consider the answers to the following two queries:
- There are approximately 30 States in the US that practise the death penalty. How would these States possibly respond to the objection made to them from non-practising States against the death penalty?
- In many countries including the US, the tax laws for a foreigner are different to a citizen. Why is that so?
