Question related on evil eye.
Question
My wife is currently 7 weeks pregnant with our first child. I have read from various sources that within the first 3 months we must be careful who we tell due to the evil eye.
The problem is my wife feels nauseous all of the time. If a family member asks her if she's pregnant (not one we would like to tell before 3 months for the aforementioned reason) is she allowed to lie and say "no"?

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātu
It is normal for a woman to experience nausea during pregnancy. The nausea is not related to the evil eye. Pregnancy is a bounty of Allah. There is no need to lie about the pregnancy. Seek protection in Allah from all evil.
