Is it permissible to eat snails?

1. is snail eating permissible?
2. i need a comprehensive and detailed information about Hayd/ Menstruation

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
1. It is not permissible to eat snail. (Raddul Muhtar, Pg. 446, Vol.9)
