I wish to ask you a very crucial and sensetative question. Some moderate educationalists in Pakistan and elsewhere are preaching that Pakistan should embrace and implement Islam as understood and interpreted by some Muslim reformers and scholars like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Justice Syed Ameer Ali, Moulanas Altaf Hussain Hali, Shibli naumani, Abu Kalam Azad, Obaidullah Sindhi, Syed Jamaluddin Afghani, Mustafa Kamal Pasha etc., etc. Those not following these personalities, according to these educationalists, by implication, means are fundamentalist clerics, orthodox, conservative and so and so for.
