Can i do blood tests during Ramadhaan

Question

It's Ramadan. I want to make some medical blood check up. It's optional. I can do it after Ramadan . So if I do it during Ramadan, is it allowed to provide blood sample for test?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

Answer:

It is Makrooh (disliked) for one to have a blood test during fasting if one is weakened by the blood test. However if one is not weakened by it, then there will be no detestability in doing so. In either scenario, the fast will be valid.
