Will the people who have done good deeds also suffer from the pangs and agonies of death?
Question
I read in the book spectacle of death that Husart Esa A.S. suffered pangs and agonies of death and a women who had done good deeds also suffered them in her grave. can u tell me if this is true and explain in more detail what pangs and agonies of death really are.
Answer
Whilst Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was in the throes of death,
he commented, 'Verily there are difficulties at the time of death.' The
comment is indicative that every person experiences the pain of death. That,
however, is not a sign of any evil.
