Is it permissible for one to pass in front of the children's saffs (row)?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to pass in front of the children’s row during congregational salah only if one does so to fill in a space in the front. [1]

وفي القنية قام في آخر صف وبينه وبين الصفوف مواضع خالية فللداخل أن يمر بين يديه ليصل الصفوف لأنه أسقط حرمة نفسه فلا يأثم المار بين يديه،(الرد المحتار ج1 ص570 سعيد)
