The name 'Umaimah'
Question
I want to know the meaning of the nameUmaimah.is it a sahabiah's name?is it appropriate to name a girl child by this name?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The name Umaimah is suitable[1]. Umaiymah is the freed slave of Nabi Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam.
