Third party or full insurance cover?
Question
Company want to give third party insurance to the drivers, but the drivers want full insurance so is it halal for the company or not?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In order for us to issue a ruling please clarify the following:
- What do you mean by company want to give?
- Is the company Muslim owned?
- Do the drivers have to pay for the insurance?
- Is it necessary by the law of your country for you to have insurance?
