Marriage of underage girls
Question
According to the Qur'an and Hadith, marrying children are allowed. How can this be? The prophet married aisha when she was 6 years old and consumated the marriage when she was 9 years old. Islamic sources say so.
Also, in the Qur'an, there is a surah 65:4 where it talks about divorcing wives who have not menstruated. How can this be?
You find that some muslim men marry children based on this, is the interpretation correct?
