Is it alright to perform Umrah with my father’s money as I am not earning yet? Jazakallah

Question

Is it ok for me to perform umrah on my father?s behalf when my father is capable of performing umrah both financially and physically? Is there a method of performing istikhaara when someone does not know the dua for istakhaara? Jazakallah

Answer

You may perform the Umrah on your behalf and make intention of giving the
reward to your father or you may don the Ihraam of Umrah on behalf of your
father.
