Is it still Haraam to wear the pants below the ankles without pride and arrogance?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Wearing pants below the ankles is impermissible whether out of pride or not.[1]

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «ما أسفل من الكعبين من الإزار ففي النار» (صحيح البخاري، باب ما أسفل من الكعبين فهو في النار)

Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Nabi sallaAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Whatever hangs below the ankles will be in Hell” (Al Bukhari)
