Inviting non-Muslims to masjid

Question

What methods can we use to invite non-muslims such as hindus to the masjid? i have a friend who i asked to come to the masjid, but i am not sure if he will come or not, thinking that i will try to convert him (although that is my intention). What can i tell him about islam that would make him more interested? and what duas can i make for his guidance? jazakAllah khair

Answer

Your concern of inviting your non-Muslim friends to Islam is commendable and
an act of virtue. You may take him along with you to the Masjid and apply
wisdom in explaining to him Islam by presenting to him authentic Islamic
literature.

If he has any doubts about Islam, you should endervour to dispel them from
him, yourself or by contacting reliable Ulama.
