Catching Jinns

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Our purpose in this world is to worship Allah Ta’ala and to earn salvation in the hereafter. Almighty Allah Ta’āla says:

{وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ} [الذاريات: 56]

Translation: “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”

We advise that you prepare for the hereafter rather than trying to capture Jinns. To capture the Nafs is a greater miracle than capturing Jinns. Rather enquire about how to go against one’s Nafs, how to be obedient to Allah, how to get closer to Allah etc. Such questions will serve your purpose better.
