Is the chocolate brand PERFETTI VEN MELLE Halaal?
Question
International chocolate brand PERFETTI VEN MELLE(Product-Alpenleibe,mentos etc) is a Italy-Nethetland based organization. In Bangladesh they have a factory. One of my frieng is working here and he told me that they used gelatine for some product which contains pig. Then i searched in the web and now i am confused.Some are saying its halal & some are saying its haram. The company saying they are not using pig but how could i believe them? please clarify whether i will eat this brand chocolate as well as other international brand or not? Working in such kind of organization be jaez or not?

You may advise your friend to refer to some reliable and competent Darul Iftaa in Bangladesh who could conduct an in house investigation of the factory and advise accordingly.
