Dua before Maghrib

Question

can we pray means make dua at the time of magrib?means before 5 mins of magrib..because I have listened from one mufti sahab saying making dua at the time of magrib is only jaiz on friday and in ramazan...otherwise its makrooh..please do help me as here people do have a habit of making dua at the time of magrib only..and please give me hawala also 

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

One can make dua at any time, including the time before Maghrib.[1]
