Question

We are two teams playing volley ball against each other.the loosing team gives 100 rupees to a person who is responsible for collecting that money. After playing many matches both the teams use that money collectively. Is it permissible?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The scenario as described above is impermissible. This is a form of gambling.[1]
