Is divorce in the state of drunkenness valid?
Question
what is ruling on person who give his wife divorce in state of drunkenness? Is divorce still valid?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Divorce issued in the state of drunkenness is valid and will occur.[1]
