Does merely thinking about a divorce constitute a divorce?

Question

If Husband having thoughts, at that time wife asks something and he replies, Up to you, you do what ever you want and in that time there are thoughts about saying T.... in the husbands mind, but still the Husband only says you do what ever you want to do.

Is their Nikkah Still valid.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your statement “Up to you, you do whatever you want” does not constitute a divorce. Hence, your Nikah is valid.
