Are we allowed to display/put decoration pieces in our house like artificial and real flowers, crystal things, etc.

Answer

It is permissable to decorate the house with inanimate objects. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has stated "The most severely punished among people on the day of resurrection will be those who try to create something similar to what Allah has created." and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best Mufti Ebrahim Desai
