Does the twitching of an eye, eyelid or an eyebrow considered as a bad omen?

Question

Would you be kind enough to tell me does the twitching of an eye, eyelid or an eyebrow considered as a bad omen/a sign which tells that something bad is going to happen in Islam ? And if so can you tell me the remedy for it ?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There is no basis for any bad omens in Islam.

Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said:

Translation: Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anh) narrates that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: ... (There is) no bad omen , nor is there any Haamah (bad omen from owls), nor is there any bad omen in the month of Safar.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
