Is there any fidya(compensation) for salat like that of Saum?Kindly tell me in the light of Quran & Hadith.

Question

I'm a sunni from India.My grandfather died on 14th April.He was a Hafiz,Alim,&imam of a mosque.But in the last days of his life he couldn't offer salat as he was suffering from leukemia.Someone has asked us to give fidya for it.Is there any fidya for salat also like that of Saum?

Answer

The Fidya (compensation) for each Fardh (obligatory) Salaat as well as Witr
Salaat will be the same as Sadaqatul Fitr, which is 1.6 kg. of wheat or its
market related value.
