Is it permissible to use permanent hair dye? Is Garnier hair dye permissible to use?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to use permanent hair dye other than the pure black colour. The use of pure black dye is not permissible.

According to SANHA (South African National Halaal Authority), Garnier hair dye is halal.
