Is it permissible to buy Jewish products?

Question

I need to know if it is permissible in islam to consume products that are manufactured by jews, the range of these products are varied like baby foods, chocholates and FMCG are mostly owned by jews.

i live in india and as per the department of food control there is a green sign given to most of these products as vegetarian. is it ok for us as muslims to consume them even if the companies that manufacture them are jewish in origin.

some of the companies are Nestle, Unilever, Cadbury, etc.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

It is permissible to buy and consume products manufactured by Jews on condition that the ingredients are halal.[1]
