Is kangaroo meat Halal?

Question

Are Muslims allowed to eat Kangaroo? Is it a Halal animal?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Kangaroo meat is Halal to consume. We find no reason for its meat to be Haram. Please find the attached answer for more detail on Halal and Haram animals.
