Is there a hadith regarding people living in homes where bad luck is possible?

Question

My cousins have been living in their home for the past 25 years. It seems like if anything good happends, someone in the family gets sicks. Is this superstitious? Is there a hadith supporting this situation?

There is no Hadith is support of such a belief.
