When following an Imam during the Fard Zuhr and Asr salaats (soft namaaz), from a Hanafi point of view does the follower remain silent or must he read sura Fathiha and a sura also softly.

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu

According to the Hanafis, the followers must remain silent behind the Imaam in the standing posture of every Salaat.
