Is Laser Circumcision Halal?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.
Laser circumcision is a surgical procedure which entails the removal of the excess foreskin by a laser beam. [1]This process entails minimal bleeding and trauma much lesser than conventional circumcision procedures.[2]
Laser circumcision surgery is permissible.
