Is It Permissible To Consume Fish That Lives In Polluted Water?
Question
Is it permissible to consume fish that lives in dirty polluted water?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Fish are halal to consume regardless of the condition of the water in which they live.[i]
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
