Are we allowed to keep rocking horses in the house for children to play on?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

A rocking horse has an image of a horse. The image is regarded as an animate object, which is haram. Therefore it is not permissible to keep rocking horses in the house.
