Is It Permissible To Perform Salatul Hajah For A Non-Muslim?

Question

Can i offer salatul hajah for a non-muslim because I want him to become a muslim?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Salatul Hajjah is to seek the help of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala regarding a certain task to be accomplished or asking Allah to remove a certain calamity which a person has been afflicted with.

Hence, it is permissible for you to perform Salatul Hajah for a non-Muslim so that Allah may guide him onto His Deen. [1]
