Is Food Made By Hindus Or People Of Any Other Religion Halal?
Question
Is food made by hindus or people of any other other religion halal?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Foods prepared by non-Muslims, Hindus, Christians etc., are fit for Muslim consumption on condition that these foods are halal and there are no haram ingredients or contamination of haram in these foods.[1]&[2].

[2] {إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ} [البقرة: 173]
