Designing cake with the heineken logo
Question
I own a custom couture bakery I have been asked to commision a cake shaped into a bottle cap with the words heineken beer on it. I have offered an altenative to the client that I can do the cake minus the logo and they can apply the logo themselves, but they insisit that they would like me to do it, please advise.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible for you to design a cake with the heineken logo on it. This will be regarded as assisting in sin. Allāh Ta’ālā says:
ولا تعاونوا على الاثم والعدوان (سورة المائدة، رقم الآية 2)
And to do not help each other in sin and aggression. (Qurān 5:2)
