Could you pass gas while doing wu'duh?

Question

Once or twice I was doing wu'duh and I passed some gas. I was not sure if it was allowed so I did my wu'duh all over again, just in case.

Answer

If one has passed wind from the rear (gas) during Wudhu, then the Wudhu must
be repeated.
