In 'Reliance of the traveller' from the Shafi'ee madhab it is stated that gambling is permissible. What does this mean? is this all types of gambling or one kind. jazakallah

Question

what is the reward of praying in jamaat, but not in the mosque?

Answer

1. Gambling is strictly prohibited in the Shari'ah. Allah Ta'ala says in the noble Qur'aan, 'Oh you who believe! Verily . gambling . is evil. So abstain
from it.'

2. To perform Salaat with Jamaat is 25 times more virtuous than performing
Salaat individually. However, it is compulsory for males to perform Salaat with Jamaat in the Musjid.
