Is There Any Exception For Wudhu During Pregnancy?

Question

what exception is there for a pregnant woman if she has to make wudu every half an hour, due to the release of urine, for various reasons?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

One becomes a ma’zur (an excused person) if for example one’s nose bleeds and does not stop, or one has a wound from which blood flows continuously or one has continuous urine drops, such that one is unable to maintain his wudhu for at least two rakats Salat.(Bahishti Zewar By Moulana Asraf Ali Thanwi (R.A.) Vol.1 Pg. 62)

The mere frequent urination of a pregnant woman does not make her ma’zur (excused). Accordingly, there is no exception for her in making wudhu.

We advise a pregnant woman make wudhu close to the Salat time.
