Is there Kaffara for Killing a Cat?

Question

I was driving a car and hit one cat by mistake and the cat died. I am feeling guilty after this event. Is there any "Kuffara" for this situation? What I have to do?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There is no kaffara for accidentally killing a cat. You should resolve to drive more carefully in the future.
