Why do we not celebrate Eid the same day as Makkah. All other countries follow Saudi Arabia.What is the reasoning behind this?

Answer

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has not made Makkah the criteria
for announcement of fast. Rather, he (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has made
the citing of the moon the criteria for commencement of fasting.
