Must one have children after marriage?

Question

Can woman choose not to have children after marriage for any reason? What if the reason was so as not to become fat and spoil her figure? Jazakallah khair.

Answer

One of the most important reason for marriage is procreation, choosing not
to have children for any reason but for protection of ones figure is
totally not permissible and goes not only against Shariah but also against
the natural instinct of women.
